About

I am a physicist and research engineer specializing in integrated photonics and nonlinear silicon nitride (SiN) photonic integrated circuits, with hands-on experience covering device design, numerical simulation, layout, and experimental validation for real-world applications.
I obtained my PhD in Physics in 2022, focusing on light–matter interactions and topological photonic devices for integrated platforms, including laser architectures. During my PhD, I developed strong expertise in computational electromagnetics and photonic device modeling, and I also contributed to the popularization of photonics research as a writing contributor for Physics World. In 2023, I was awarded the French National PhD prize (Société Française de Physique) for the impact of my doctoral work.
I then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at CNR-Nanotec (Italy), where I designed and simulated nonlinear waveguides and resonant photonic structures, and performed optical characterization of photonic cavities, with a focus on nonlinear effects and light–matter interaction in integrated platforms.
I am currently a Research Engineer at CEA-Leti, working on the design, simulation, layout, and experimental validation of active and passive silicon nitride photonic integrated circuits, with a strong focus on nonlinear optics, RF-photonics, and electro-optic functionalities for industrial applications and technology maturation.
My skill set bridges advanced numerical simulation (FDTD, FEM, RCWA), fabrication-aware photonic design, PIC layout and automation (KLayout, GDS tools), and experimental validation on optical and electro-optic test benches. I have also contributed to MPW fabrication runs in silicon photonics, gaining direct exposure to CMOS-compatible manufacturing flows and large-scale device integration.
I am particularly motivated by robust, scalable, and industry-grade integrated photonic technologies that can transition from advanced research toward telecom, sensing, and space-grade systems.
